About Me

Hi, I'm Morgan Wall, a 23-year-old programmer from the UK. My language of choice is C++, which I've been using as a hobbyist for around 8 years now, and as a student for close to 4 years.

I've always had an interest in games, knowing from a very young age that it was the industry I wanted to work in. This fascination was due to playing games all my life, starting with the original Xbox, then the Xbox 360, and finally the PC.

Upon moving to PC gaming, I began using and becoming more interested in game modding, which led me to research how they worked and were made. In turn, this meant I learned more about reverse engineering, Windows memory management, and some Assembly language. This is where my interest in programming started, and my career path became obvious.

Alongside game modding, I also spent time learning the basics of several programming languages, such as C++, Java, and Kotlin. C++ has always been my preferred language, which I've used to create many personal projects over the years, ranging from a CLI-based DLL Injector, to basic game engines.

My time at university has allowed me to grow and refine my knowledge of C++, C#, and Kotlin, and has aided in my learning of OpenGL 1/3, and other graphics libraries. University also expanded my understanding of the games industry, helping me to paint a realistic image of what is expected within it.
